What’s up everyone, my name is Jodi Robinson. A little bit about me, I have been married for 14 years to a fun-loving biker, we have 2 boys. One who lives at home who is 11 years old and our oldest who is 29 years old and a first responder.
I have always been in fitness. I started gymnastics at the age of 5 and continue for 12 years at the state level. In between gymnastic seasons I ran track just to make sure I stayed in shape.
In 2013 I decided I wanted to step on stage as a fitness competitor. I achieved that goal by competing in Worlds with the WBFF in Las Vegas, NV. I was fortunate to even place in that competition. After that competition I didn’t feel as though my fitness competition life was over, so I took a very short break before preparing for my next competition in May. Again, I was fortunate to place. I met Amber and James Hanton during the time I was competing.
I joined Gotem Fit when James and Amber first opened. I took a very long break but recently have been back for a couple of years. This gym is truly my safe place. When I walk in the door it is so hard to walk back out again. The environment is supportive, motivating, encouraging and positive. It really is truly a family environment. I am dedicated to my fitness and healthy lifestyle and I really try to show that in what I do, how I speak, and how I live.
I am excited to be able to coach at Gotem Fit. It shows me that Amber and James see my dedication and commitment to this lifestyle, and I really want to share that dedication with others.
I believe the hardest part of starting a healthy fit fueled lifestyle is getting started, so my goal is to make everyone who is a part of Gotem fit feel comfortable and help to break down any barriers they may have.
I am here to motivate, support, and encourage and I take that role very seriously.
